Dobroyd Headland is an unspoiled parkland with spectacular views of the Sea, Manly Cove and North Harbour. It is located in Balgowlah Heights and separated from Shelly Beach by a rock wall. You can enjoy bushwalking, birdwatching and picnicking with sensational views.

When is it open? The parkland opens every day of the year, unless there are dangerous conditions such as high winds or heavy rains. There is no public transport to this parkland. The closest bus stop is just past Shelly Beach on Military Road.

How do I get to Balgowlah from the city?

There are several ways you can access Balgowlah from the Sydney CBD. The public buses that operate in the area have several stops throughout Balgowlah as well as connecting Manly, Spit Bridge and many other destinations from around Manly.  Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Wharf which offers breath-taking views of Sydney Harbour. From here it is a short walk around the corner to Balgowlah. Finally the drive from the city takes about 30 minutes making this a great place for a quick getaway in a luxury holiday rental.
